Specified GDP Growth Even More Impressive
GDP in Lithuania grew by 6.9 %, according to the new specified report by the Department of Statistics, instead of earlier counted 6.6 % comparing the first and second quarters of 2010.

State-owned Companies' Annual Review
The Lithuanian Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Office of the Prime Minister and Ministry of Finance prepared the annual Review state-owned companies’ review, based on information derived from various external sources, such as financial statements of enterprises, Center of Registers, Department of Statistics, VĮ Valstybinis Miškotvarkos Institutas, Bloomberg, information provided by separate ministries, and other.

Lithuanian Minimum Wage is One of the Smallest in the EU
Statistics agency Eurostat determined that the National Minimum Wage (NMW) in Lithuania is one of the smallest in the EU. At the moment NMW in Lithuania is EUR 232, and it is 7,25 times smaller than in Luxembourg; NMW is smaller only in Romania (EUR 142) and Bulgaria (EUR 123).

Lithuanians Will Produce Electric Buses
Before the end of this year Lithuanian transport equipment manufacturer and trader UAB Ziemgalos Automobiliai is planning to manufacture electric buses running on Lithium 200 AH batteries, enabling a charged bus to drive up to 200 km.

GDP of Lithuania Grew Most in the EU
GDP of Lithuania grew by 2.9 %, comparing the second and first quarters of 2010, and that is most in the whole EU, states Eurostat. Lithuania was only pursued by Germany and Estonia, which grew by 2.2 % and 2 %, respectively.
