"We admire your efforts in trying to restore Lithuanian economy and mitigate the outcomes of the economic crisis. Even though, Lithuania is severely affected by the crisis, its economic recovery was the fastest in the EU in the third quarter of the year," the letter sent to Kubilius by the EFR says, reports LETA/ELTA.

The award ceremony will take place on January 31, in the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The World Leader Cycle Award will be handed out to Lithuania’s PM by former Dutch PM Jan Peter Balkenende.
